This is huge. Not many of you will realize HOW huge. Just this fall Gergana had no concept that written words were connected to spoken words. Honestly she could not comprehend it. Tracking words on paper with your finger was impossible. Three letter words were impossible. She knew her alphabet. She knew the sounds each letter made. But reading just was.not.happening. It seemed impossible.
That is when this happened: 'Wait, I thought we adopted a 9 yr old??'
And now, just months later, we have made huge progress. We really are amazed.

I don't know what happened, but something has clicked and I could not be prouder of this girl!
We still have a long way to go, but we are slowly moving forward. Go Gergana!

AHHHH! This excites me SO much!! I am SO happy for her (and for you!)!! :) Phoebe is getting closer everyday to being able to read. I know how hard of a struggle it is, each and every day. SO SO happy! :)
